Mitch is a sixth-generation military member and was born in the upper Midwest state of North Dakota. His passion for the outdoors comes from his parents who were avid anglers and spent many days on the lake. Mitch, on the other hand, went to the extreme other side of the spectrum and began hunting in 1989. Since then, he has hunted across many states, and some countries, in pursuit of the world’s most iconic animals.

After 20 years of service in the US Army, he retired in 2020 and began to pursue a career that would allow him to incorporate his love of hunting. After receiving a degree in Wildlife Management, he became a licensed professional guide in the state of Wyoming and worked with an outfitter for several years.

After moving with his family to Colorado he decided to open his own outfitting business to share his knowledge of big game hunting and make a living doing what he loves. You will typically find him in the woods, walking a trail, or up on a ridge looking for that next great experience.
